To Kill A Mockingbird

“You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view... Until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it.”-----To Kill A Mockingbird

This is a book given by my friend in my birthday when i was in the year 1 in university, and i didn't finished reading it until recently! (which is approximately 3 years after i first received the book!)

He said this book is fantastic and very famous and it's a literature! Sounds very boring isn't it?

But after I read more and more in these 3 YEARS, I start to think this is really a very good book to read indeed. The story is from a little girl's angle to view her childhood with her family and the city, and it makes readers feel like they grow up with her together and learn a lot of things together through all the things happened around her. And the problems that she and her brother encountered inspires readers to think too.

Through out the process of reading, I was wishing to have a father like the main character Atticus, to be my future children's father (sounds crazy). Because the way Atticus teaches his children, included what I think is very important for children: to teach them value set. And therefore I would say this book is also very suitable for parents to read as well!

The quote inspired me a lot too! Everyone seems to be defining who is good guy, who is bad guy, who is right, who is wrong etc. But we forgot to see or to see, oversee the reasons for people to act out an action. We should also try to know about others' background and have sympathy for them even if they have done wrong before we judge them. I think this kind of concept is also a good inspiration for people to think more. :)
